They were chosen as the only band from the Eastern region of the country to be part of Channel V Launchpad. A video was made for one of their original compositions named Don't You Worry. LEVEL 9 LIVE NEW DELHI ,ENTRY FREE
Level 9
Date: 16th August 2007
Venue: Cafe Morrison, South-Ex, New Delhi
Time: 8pm
Entry: Free
About Level 9
From a female vocalist who has gained prominence in a really short span; to a bassist whose fingers hit the fret-board with a style unseen before, the band thrives on the funky rhythmic concoctions of the drummer and the rhythm guitars adorned by the fret-burning blues-rock solos from the lead guitarist’s axe. Formed in 2003, they have played at IIT Roorkee, The Blues, Sri Venkateswara College, The British Council etc among other prominent pub rock gigs. Their popular track 'We're All Here For You' has made waves on the compilation CD titled 'FC1' released by First City magazine featuring best original music by Indian bands in 2005. Their song "Ain't Gonna Cry"- a cause-driven number for HIV+ patients was listed as track#1 on the compilation CD 'Keep The Promise' released by Thomson Foundation. Recently they were featured on Channel V's Launchpad, a platform for the best Indian bands with original music after being selected from over 250 bands all across the nation.. Level 9 is the perfect melting pot for these musicians as each one brings their individual influences to the fore. With a unique sound that is jazz, funk, blues and progressive rock, Level 9 is probably one of India’s most unique sounding rock bands.
Band Members Michelle Lobo - Vocals; Anirudh Goswamii - Lead Guitar; Nikhil Auluck - Rhythm Guitar; Gaurav Chintamani - Bass Guitar; Adhiraj Mustafi - Drums and Percussions

Them clones :IDOL of month
THEM CLONES,Alternative Rock band from New Delhi, and Winners of the JD rock awards, Them Clones are all set to play their first set of gigs abroad
Them Clones have won most of the big competitive events across the country in the early years, then went on to play and win pioneering events like Channel V's Launchpad, Jack Daniel's Rock Awards (two times) in a row,
Them Clones were created sometime in July 2000.
Two years… and plenty of shows later... Ravi departed for more fruitful ventures...which brings us to the present case scenario.
The vacancies were filled in by Joseph on guitars and Prithwish...who committed himself to vocal duties.
At the end of a period with definitive moments of what Them Clones terms ego bashing, they decided to realize a dream of selling their own songs. Things started rolling making a zillion copies of CDs and printing their case covers. The news was put up in this sites ,the EP was released…aptly titled "Them Clones EP"… for the people who made the music feel as big as it is. From June '03 till today…10000 sales…and still rolling… The EP contains:
i) In the name of God
ii) Awaken
iii) Black, white and gray
iv) Zoopertrip
v) Wait for me
Band Members Prithwish (PD) Dev - lead vocals, Joseph - lead guitars, Romit - bass, vocals, Gucci - guitars, vocals, Dev - drums, vocals

wow BAND of month
DREAM OUT LOUD ---an idea that started out a long time ago in the minds of two musicians who never really knew each other. So even
though it took many years before they actually met, the dream was always alive, or
maybe it was the dream that kept them alive.
The idea was very simple - to write songs which were absolutely heartfelt, with the hope of somehow connecting with as many people as possible through music.
All those years of trying to find like minded musicians to make this dream a reality, had given both Chandresh & Suraj a lot to draw from to put into the songs they eventually created.
The style that they identified most with was ROCK.
The sound of the electric guitar, bass & drums was enough to inspire them to create songs in the midst of the chaotic Mumbai lifestyle
